Facebook Ads Case Studies

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JollyChicStyle?fref=ts

Landing Page: Jolly Chic hoodies

Placement: right column

Critique: Again, the placement on the right column of the webpage provides more limited space, so you need to make it count. The image is relevant as it shows the exact product that is the subject of the ad. The website is prominent and clickable. The promotion is spelled out in as few words as possible. The call-to-action could have been worded better in the headline, such as “Get your All-match Hoodies today!”

The landing page link takes you directly to the sales page with the hoodies on sale. See discounted price, styles, colors and sizes available. The page contains sweatshirts as well, which are not advertised and not on sale. A page with just the sale items only may have been a better choice.SheInside

Landing Page: Flare Red Dress

(Each product pictured has its own landing page. This is the one for the red lace flare dress.)

Placement: Desktop newsfeed

Critique: This is an example of the carousel option for displaying a multi product ad. Each photo has its own call-to-action which allows you to feature different advertising objectives within the same ad. Social stats show interest in the products. The text gives a value proposition (new dress for new season), and promotion being offered. The images are clear and relevant. One thing to note is that the price of the dresses is missing a number in the text. Always proof your text to avoid simple grammatical errors like this.

The landing page for the Flare Red Dress, for example, lets you see more images and order the size you need right away. This promotes quick and easy checkout for increased conversions.Nordstrom womens sandals

Landing page: NORDSTROM Women’s Sandals

Placement: right column

Critique: This image is divided in two to showcase a product example as well as how it looks on the target market. Because it is a right column ad, the text features a clear call-to-action in capital letters so viewers know what to do. The promos are also listed. All that’s left is to click the website link.

The landing page takes you directly to the Women’s Sandals section of the catalog for tons of options.Touch of Modern

Landing page: The Minimalist Key ring

Placement: Desktop newsfeed

Critique: The image is extremely relevant by showing the value proposition. With this product you can go from the image on the left to the image on the right. The text creates urgency for the viewer by stressing that this is a limited time offer. The next step is to hit the “Shop Now” button, which incidentally is the most popular CTA button on Facebook. Using a brighter color for the text within the image (other than white) would make it pop and be easier to read.

The landing page gives a blurb about the key chain as well as the options available for purchase with large colorful images.Bezar
